Course Description
This is an online course; Become a fully qualified Professional Nail Technician. In this 400 hour course, you’ll learn the techniques on how to apply both Gel and Acrylic nails. You’ll become confidant in applying regular and French sculpted nails, as well as Color Gel and Color Acrylic.

You’ll also learn to do Gel and Acrylic refills, Repairs, Re-growth, as well as proper use of the electric file, and Nail Art.

You will learn the proper techniques and then perform the procedures on the Nail Trainer Hand. Once you have completed your sets, simply mail the nail tips to our Mirage Spa Education Canada office for grading. They will then be returned to you, with your evaluation, on what areas need improvement and what you have excelled in.

Manicures and Pedicures are performed on live models. You will receive a full kit and all the training to learn regular and spa treatments, with massage.

To graduate from this course, you’ll be required to complete a pre-determined number of assignments, along with a number of Multiple Choice exams, as well as a final exam. Upon completion of this course, you’ll be on your way to a new and exciting career as a Fully Qualified Nail Technician. You can take up to twelve (12) months to complete this course.

Requirements: Minimum 18 years of age or have completed grade 10 (or equivalent); for the online version, you must have Internet access.

Based on 400 hours Theory and Practical

Modules – Nailtech course is delivered in six (6) modules (blocks); once you have successfully completed one module, you can move onto the next.

Module 1 – Tip Application / Temporary Sets
Module 2 – Gel Nails
Module 3 – Acrylic Nails
Module 4 – Electric File
Module 5 – Nail Art Color Gel and Acrylic
Module 6 – Manicure and Pedicure

THEORY: You are required to write exams in accordance with the Standard textbook of Nail Technology

This course includes all the tools, supplies and products required to complete. Yes even the light unit and E-file. You will need to supply the foot basin and towels.

You have the option to purchase a manual from our sister company will ship you the module kits. Shipping is through Canada Post and delivered to your door. A signature is required. will charge separately for shipping.

Payment Plan : Pay per module at $585.00 x 5 modules and a final payment of $675.00, or monthly – to be determined per individual student.
