Course Description
This is an online course; Become a fully qualified Professional Nail Technician. In this 400 hour course, you’ll learn the techniques on how to apply both Gel and Acrylic nails. You’ll become confident in applying regular and French sculpted nails, as well as Color Gel and Color Acrylic.

You’ll also learn to do Gel and Acrylic refills, Repairs, Re-growth, as well as proper use of the electric file, and Nail Art.

You will learn the proper techniques from the videos, then perform the procedures on the Nail Trainer Hand. Once you have completed your sets, simply send your assignments to our Mirage Spa Education Inc. head office for grading. A video will be made and sent to you with your evaluation, on what areas need improvement and what you have excelled in.

Natural nail services (manicures and pedicures) are performed on live models. You will not receive a kit – a list will be provided to you upon enrolment for required supplies.

To graduate from this course, you’ll be required to complete a pre-determined number of assignments, along with a number of Multiple Choice exams, as well as a final exam. Upon completion of this course, you’ll be on your way to a new and exciting career as a Fully Qualified Nail Technician. You can take up to twelve (12) months to complete this course.

Requirements: Minimum 18 years of age or have completed grade 10 (or equivalent); If under 18 years you must have a signature from a parent or legal guardian. You must have Internet access, and a digital device that can take and submit photos.

Based on 400 hours Theory and Practical

Modules – Nailtech course is delivered in six (6) modules (blocks); once you have successfully completed one module, you can move onto the next.

Module 1 – Tip Application / Temporary Sets
Module 2 – Gel Nails
Module 3 – Acrylic Nails
Module 4 – Electric File
Module 5 – Nail Art Color Gel and Acrylic
Module 6 – Manicure and Pedicure

THEORY: You are required to write exams in accordance with the Standard textbook of Nail Technology

Payment plan:

$450.00 per module x 6 modules (pay as you go plan)
$225.00 per month x 12 months (part time)
$675.00 per month x 4 months (full time) has pre-made kits for each module for your convenience.
